Megan Endicott
My name is Megan Endicott, and I am in the Education Specialist Degree program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I simultaneously began the program alongside the Education Leadership Certification program in the Fall of 2016 and will graduate in the Summer of 2019. I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2001 with a BacheIor's degree in music education. Immediately after graduation, I began teaching elementary school in Forsyth County, Georgia before entering my current position in Fulton County, Georgia in 2004. In 2013, I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Central Michigan University.
I currently teach elementary music to kindergarten through fifth grade students at Dolvin Elementary school in Fulton County, Georgia. I am also on the executive leadership team for the Fulton County Vanguard team in which I am tasked with creating meaningful events and professional development to increase best practices in instructional technology for its more than three-hundred team members. KSU's reputation in instructional technology led me to the Specialist's Degree program in the Department of Instructional Technology. My ultimate goal is to obtain a job as a leader in education with an emphasis in instructional technology.
The purpose of this portfolio is for me to demonstrate mastery of the PSC Instructional Technology standards and the ISTE NETS-C standards. As you can see, there are a series of links below the KSU logo that you can visit. Of particular importance is the "standards" link. Under this link, you will see a series of artifacts and reflections documenting the important work I have completed during this program. Each artifact represents mastery of the standard under which it is represented.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kennesaw State University, and feel that I am well-prepared to integrate technology into my classroom and to assist other educators in using technology and providing professional learning opportunities for them.
